I know the season is not close to when we'd be hearing or seeing managers using words to confuse their opponents and this very one I can't say for what is what but it seems like Amorim has already started making plans for mind games before the start of next campaign. What does he mean by what he said? What's your take on this very one?
What he might be referring might come to one’s mind in different understanding. I would say that statement is practically meaning that it might take a while before they bond together as team. As it will really take a while for them to bond, they will have to bare those moments as a very big trying time for them which makes them to be in the position of suffering. This could be what he meant. And another feeling that will come to my mind could be that; he’s trying to deviate the attention of their opponents not to see them as a very strong team to want to think more of to beat when they meet, this might be him trying to take the position of an underdog in disguise for his opponents while he prepares to strike well when he has the opportunity.
Manchester United have really come too far that they’ll be in a position of them seeking for soft landing from their opponents, but if a situation warrants them, they have no choice that to bow down to that. Amorim should be ready to give the best to this team this season. His debut season is over and he needs to prove himself worthy of the opportunity given to him since last season to take over the full control of the team as their coach. They want results now and he has to give them that result as soon as possible or he’ll risk losing his job sooner than later. With some few weeks to the start of the season, let’s see how they’re going to handle their first game of the season to have a picture of how they’ll perform this season.
