Zelensky is NOT President of Ukraine. He quit that position when he did two things:
1. Became dictator when he put Ukraine under martial law;
2. Maintained his dictatorship by not allowing elections.
You seem misinformed.
Ukraine does not allow for elections in war-time.
What would you do if you are president of a country and that country is attacked? Not declaring martial law?
You seem to be misinformed or just not thinking.
Zelensky is dictator over a chunk of land that has lost it's meaning when he became dictator, by martial law. Now we have two things:
1. Former Ukraine law, which doesn't exist, because...
2. Z law abolished it when Z became dictator through martial law.
As dictator over a piece of land, he can call it anything that he wants, even Ukraine. But it isn't the prewar Ukraine until he formally drops the martial law, or until, possibly, when he loses the war.
But Z has a bunch of people all over the world scratching their heads... not realizing that there are two Ukraine's. A former one which doesn't exist since the time that martial law was enacted by Z. And an informal, different one, that exists by Z's word, which he can do because in his martial law, he is dictator.
It's a good thing that Putin and the Russian leaders can think. They easily see this, even though much of the world wants to turn a blind eye to it.
