There's nothing different about La Liga, except for the rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid. I admit the rivalry between these two rivals is fierce, but none of the other teams are capable of putting pressure on the top of the table after Atletico Madrid's poor performances in recent seasons.
For next season, I just hope Atletico can perform better after the many changes they've made since last season. If they do, then La Liga will likely be much more intense and exciting with three teams competing.
The top three teams will likely still be Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid next season because the other teams in La Liga still don't have the depth of their squads that those three teams mentioned. However, on the other hand, I also hope Atletico Madrid can create a different kind of competition next season so that they can pose a serious obstacle to Barcelona and Real Madrid in the race for the La Liga title next season. Furthermore, I'm eager to see how Real Madrid will approach the season with their new coach next season, as Xabi still needs some different techniques to make Real Madrid a better team.

La Liga giants having been Real Madrid and Barcelona, along with Atletico Madrid have almost ruled the competition every season, but this new season will present an even closer contest, with my prediction for La Liga. Athletic Bilbao fortunately just announced that they had successfully renewed Nico Williams' contract, which is very good news since he is a very core player for their squad. If Nico stays on and a couple of good transfers go through to strengthen their squad, I also expect them to be in contention for the top three in La Liga this season.

No matter who is in charge of Real Madrid, Real Madrid always seems to be in the running. What adds to the appeal is that besides because XA is a former Real Madrid player, but he comes to Bernabéu after having impressed elsewhere. His success under Bayer Leverkusen makes the world expect a lot more, and specifically the Real Madrid fans expect more out of his coaching career.
