I won't deny the fact that they played very well and perform excellently by creating a lot of chances but one thing about all these pre season game is that sometimes it doesn't really have much effect when the league starts because I have seen on so many occasions that a team will perform so well and at the end their performance didn't go well as they did during the pre season games.
What you're saying is also a fact, with some teams looking great in the preseason, but that doesn't show up in the league as a whole. So I wouldn't be surprised to see a team underperforming in the season, even if they were able to show good results in preseason, making their fans proud. That's why I don't want to judge a team's performance in the preseason directly, because that can change as the season progresses or when the team faces more comparable opponents in more serious league matches.
