I was reading through forum posts as usual and then I saw a post in Bitcoin discussion thread that the person was asking about the biggest Bitcoin giveaway in history and NotATether replied him that it was
Gavin's faucet I quickly clicked it and saw he was giving out 5 Bitcoin for free and this thing happened in 2010 when Bitcoin had no value now just imagine how much that 5 Bitcoin is now, you have calculators you can calculate it using the current Bitcoin price, right now no one can give that number of Bitcoin for free to just a random person it's very difficult for such things to happen now.
Then there where people that got the 5 free Bitcoin distributed by Gavin's faucet and some may have just decided to hold and now is something very valuable.
Again pooya87 said in 2009 people could mine bitcoin blocks using only your CPU and get the 50 bitcoin reward for each block you'd have found and that is true.
I'm just trying to show you all how long Bitcoin has come and that there was a time getting Bitcoin was much more easier than it is now and then also telling everyone here that a time will come when Bitcoin will more difficult to get than it is now Because of it's high price and wider adoption so be consistent and accumulate as much as you can and then hold.
There is no doubt that bitcoin has outperformed itself to get to this level that we see today, it wasn't easy, being the first of its kind no trust and the worst part is, Satoshi even made himself anonymous making alot of people to have doubt if bitcoin was a legitimate investment or a ponzi scheme. Yet bitcoin managed to strive through all these and today it's the most trusted cryptocurrency and our of the world top leading digital asset, there is more in bitcoin than we see today, the early holders had hope and today they're happy for taking that decision to hold and we too can make our future part of this beautiful adventure.
