Yes, I was addicted to gambling since 2014 to 2019. That was five years and I will say it cost me a lot. I do not think it cost me any psychological blow but it is painful when I lost but within some minutes or hours, I will let go of it. I learn from my mistake that everything in life is not about money. The mistake was not catastrophic but it would be catastrophic for many people.
Don't focus on what it cost you think about the lessons that you have learned. Like I always tell those around me, it's better to make certain mistakes when you are still on the come up or at your beginning stages so that you don't make those mistakes in the future. People who don't learn from their mistakes are the ones that get into more trouble in life. As long as you retraced your steps it's just a matter of time for you to recover
