Of course, positive mindset is what triggers a gambler to try his luck, because he believes that he can win and make profits. At the same time, we shouldn't be carried away with the hope of winning the next game and keep on chasing our losses. After several consecutive losses, it's better to take a break and quit the game. Luck is the key factor in gambling.
I believe the positive mindset starts reducing once the gambler starts losing. The moment you are filled with the mindset that you will continue winning, and you get into losing a few hands of your bet, your confidence level will start reducing, which will lead to your next bet having doubt with it, which it’s supposed to be. If the gambler continues playing without stopping, it will only mean that the revenge to win back what has been lost is what will be fueling his energy and not the positive mindset again.
