Investing is not really a culture in Nigeria that we can say is not dominant in Nigeria. Formerly we fit dey blame say na the economy dey make many Nigerians nor fit dey consider investment as e require big money to take invest. As cryptocurrency dun show face, the opportunity to invest dey open for all, and e cun dey obvious say nor be just the economy dey worry us, but plenty other reasons.
One reason wey i dun notice say dey make many Nigerians nor dey want invest for crypto na say we dey fear to loose money more than we dey enjoy to get am, so because say we nor wan loose, we dey plan am safe. How you see am? and what other reasons can we point out?
If you understand how Nigerians think you would know that the fear of losing money isn't really part of the reason why they do not invest in cryptocurrency. Look at all the ponzi schemes that has stolen from Nigerians over the years, are those not people's money? They invested without being forced to. The main problem with here is that they are trying to make money the fast way, cryptocurrency seems like a lot of work and stress so they focus on things that can give them that quick money that they need. This has always been the problem and if that mentality doesn't change they would still continue to miss out on the benefits of cryptocurrency
We have been long living in the illusion that money has to arrive fast or never. I realize that some individuals need to rush because of life and crypto seems complex and is not fast. However, when we take a closer look, it is not the asset itself which is dangerous but mentality. We will find a great number of individuals implied into scam schemes without any hesitation, but they are not keen on learning how the use of crypto works, more transparently. We should know that till we are only concerned about getting or receiving the quick fix, the most stable opportunities will still be eluded and wasted. Crypto is not an instant wealth creator but has the future of growing with time. We have to learn not to take another way that will destroy us but remain focused on the right direction.
