I reached out to support and got this response:

“Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing some technical issues regarding this promotion.
We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this might cause you, but rest assured that everything should be back to normal soon.
Our team is working on it as we speak and everything should be up and running very soon.”

I don’t see a big deal on this scam accusation.

First because Stake acknowledged the error and working on it so they didn’t ignore the user rather just tell him to be patient.

Second point, why would you request for a refund while you play the game without a bug. Your concern is just the VIP progress which they are already fixing as promised by the support.

Lastly, why not just wait first since the promotion is still active.
At the very least they could have sent out a message across telegram or something letting users know that they were aware the promo wasn't working correctly and another message once the error was corrected. Likely not going to stop people from wagering, but allows users to know that they are wagering regularly.

I don't think it's a huge deal myself, just saying letting people know should have been an option.
It doesn't cost anything to email everyone about their technical issues and that is to show how their users are utmost important to them. I think they usually send out promotional offers and it would be ideal they also do that whenever they are having some technical issues to alert everyone on their maintenance.

However, to the op it's important to exercise patient when you are gambling or whatsoever you are doing on the casino and I didn't found this as someone very bad because already they had acknowledged for their errors and likely to fixed it within some time and everything would function back.
