I know the season is not close to when we'd be hearing or seeing managers using words to confuse their opponents and this very one I can't say for what is what but it seems like Amorim has already started making plans for mind games before the start of next campaign. What does he mean by what he said? What's your take on this very one?
This is not a mind game, it is just the reality with Manchester United. Even if Amorin is trying to play a mind game here, it still has a little touch of reality but it is wrong in my opinion. There's no hidden meaning to what he said, that's the literal meaning of what he actually meant but it is not necessary to spill out such statement to public.
Statements like this sends a bad signal to fans and most importantly the players too irrespective of internal discussions he has with them. I see it as a lack of self confidence from his side and that's not appropriate from a coach of such team like Manchester United. The bad season they had last season should not determine their performance this season, there's room for improvement and they can change things for good.
