My small bet on De Ridder was a win, but it wasn't an easy one. To be fair, I thought Whittaker won and was a bit surprised to see RDR's hand raised. Well done to him though. That win will definitely put him in the top 10 and maybe even in the top 5 (but I doubt that). Who knows, he might even get the next title shot.
But Whittaker did expose a lot of RDR's weak points, his striking had a lot of holes and he struggled to neutralise Whittaker's jump-in jabs, also, his jiu-jitsu/grappling was simply not very effective. He did very well on utilising those knees. That's what gave him the win over Bo Nickal, and it worked on Whittaker as well, but whoever his next opponent will be, they will probably come prepared for that, so he cannot rely on those knees too much.

We only had one finish in the main card fights. Nikita Krylov KO'd Bogdan Guskov in round one.
