As I mostly played baccarat games, one myth that I wish would die is "If I lose 5 times in a row, I’m ‘due’ for a win!".
"If I gamble one more time, I could win"

This is the same as what the OP has shared, but just in different phrases. This is what they call as "Gambler's Fallacy" where gamblers are thinking that if they gamble one more time, they might win hence, they'll gamble even more, and they'll chase their losses hence, a major sign of gambling addiction. We know that there's no "guarantee" of winning when it comes to gambling, and it's all about luck at the end of the day.
How about you guys? What's that one myth that you cringe everything you hear about it?
"If a slot machine hasn’t paid out in a while, it’s due for a win."

I don't know if somebody here already heard this quote, but I've heard it in some videos online that I'm watching where if a slot machine has a huge jackpot, and nobody has won on that machine for quite some time, it has a higher chance of making the next gambler win. Of course, this is just a myth that's being created by gamblers just so that they have a reason to gamble. We know that it's completely based on luck, and past results of the machine have no effect on it's future outcomes.
