Nicolas Jackson is nowhere near consistent I don’t even consider him a complete striker because his finishing is poor. Manchester United needs a better option but considering their financial situation it would be difficult to sign that perfect striker seeing how much a perfect striker costs this days. Watkins could be less expensive and more effective for Manchester United than Nicolas Jackson could be.
He is probably one of the most inconsistent player in Chelsea, he can pit up with upto three forms In a single season, he can be peak at the beginning of the season and mid way he falls out of form only to later be average towards the end or he could mix it up in a different oder. I agree Manchester United do not need someone like that, not at this time they are struggling to build a team, except he will improve moving to Manchester United. The deal is not yet sealed so let us see if it comes through before the end of the transfer window.
In my opinion, the right striker for Manchester United is between Ollie Watkins and Hugo Ekitiké as it has been rumored for a long time that these two strikers are more productive than Nicolas Jackson, but I am not sure whether Manchester United can bring in one of these strikers because Aston Villa has confirmed that they will not sell Ollie Watkins, but for Hugo Ekitiké, it is still open to being sold.
