The competition is hard for the new ones if they're not going to make their brands exposed and advertised.
The competition is tough, indeed, but as far as I can see (from your profile and the profiles of some other members), they have launched their signature campaign and this will certainly help them to gain more exposure on this forum. (I couldn’t find their sig. campaign thread on the services board, though!)
Launching or sponsoring some contests on the games and rounds board from time to time would help too.
But the most important thing they need to do to really stand out from their competitors is to remain active and keep interacting with forum members by answering their questions and addressing their concerns.
I agree, remaining active to see that they have a community to take care of and they're engaging with everyone. And for better results, to have a long term plans on marketing.
I think this is already part of their plan to expand their reach. One of the first steps they took was starting a signature campaign on the forum. It's only a matter of time before it grows even bigger, especially since it takes time to gain more attention.
I'm sure the team will also be keeping an eye on what we're discussing, as this indirectly provides advice for them, although they're probably already aware of it. They can also expand their reach for promotions and other things, which can be done on social media.
Yeah, they know better than us.
And they're for sure going to reach other channels and way of giving them more visibility to another community and complete new set of possible new players that they'll have.
