The top three teams will likely still be Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid next season because the other teams in La Liga still don't have the depth of their squads that those three teams mentioned. However, on the other hand, I also hope Atletico Madrid can create a different kind of competition next season so that they can pose a serious obstacle to Barcelona and Real Madrid in the race for the La Liga title next season. Furthermore, I'm eager to see how Real Madrid will approach the season with their new coach next season, as Xabi still needs some different techniques to make Real Madrid a better team.
Like I kind of wonder sometimes when some people will boldly say that the Spanish league is tougher than the English premier League, as the league have been all about two teams for a long time now, ATM are only concern of their spot at the top four unless maybe they get lucky to win the league maybe once in a blue moon, while Barcelona and Real Madrid keep deciding who wins the league every season then one will come out and say the Spanish LA Liga is tougher than English premier League, where you see even the least expected team will come out to competit with the top ones, I just hope ATM Seville and some others wake up this time around
But we have seen countless times when smaller teams in the Laliga do win the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid. When you say tougher, are you referring to physicality or the number of teams competing to win the league? That aside, we have also seen countless times when the premier League teams struggle to beat Spanish teams. Spanish teams has always had the upper hand when teams from both leagues meet. Each leagues has their peculiarities, I don't see the need for this comparisons.
