It was five years ago, that Bayern won the Champions Legaue with a 1-0 victory over PSG in the finals. Since then, Bayern have been struggling to see how they can lift the trophy again. I believe that if they add more effort and improve their performance to the best of them, they can make it happen next season. It wouldn't be an easy one since there are a lot of club that is focused on winning UCL next season.
I don't think so. When I compare Munich's overall performance with the club like PSG, madrid , Barcelona, city, Liverpool and arsenal, we have to put Munich a little behind. Munich may easily secure the bundesliga title. But it will not be possible in the Champions league.
Kompany does not have enough experience on the Champions league platform. We have seen Bayern Munich perform well against small teams. But their performance suddenly fall against big teams. Look at Munich's performance in the FIFA Club World Cup. Munich won 10-0 against Auckland City. But Munich's players could not score a single goal against PSG. With such irregular performance, it is impossible to win the Champions League title.
