Next year will be a year for Bayern Munich to compete for the Champions League. Last year, they won the Bundesliga and exceeded expectations,
Exceeded expectations?
Bayern not winning the Bundesliga was a shock, them winning is the absolute normal, they only lost it once to Bayer for the first time since 2011. Nobody is going to congratulate them for doing what everyone was expecting from them.
Also finishing 12th in the knockout stage and then eliminated in the quarter finals, again it's nothing amazing, quarter finals is the norm, only in 2018 were they eliminated at an earlier stage.
Lol, that is true. In any given year, Bayern "should" be winning the league, they are spending 5 times more than their closest rivals Dortmund. And in theory, Dortmund should be second place every year too, but that doesn't happen, so did Bayern winning because Leverkusen won a year ago.
So all in all, I would say it's expected for Bayern to win, we have gotten used to that a lot more. Things are a bit more complicated when you have no idea what's happening. Bayern will do fine at UCL too, definitely above group stage, so we need to realize Bayern is a HUGE club, they are making a lot of money and with that money they should be able to win and that has to be something they can benefit and not really do that much difficulty.
