Well it's simple, because it's the game of football where the inevitable happens especially when it's least expected. Over the course of some months, PSG has been the favourites in all the classic matches since this year and we all thought they will continue that exploit but things took a drastic turn in the CWC. Especially in the finals, it was a game that some people had already written off Chelsea, but it came as a shocker that Chelsea did not only win them but thrashed and outplayed them.
PSG were an unbeatable team throughout the season and they won the Champions League title by defeating big teams in the Champions League. After finishing the Champions League journey well, PSG started well in the Club World Cup and in the Club World Cup we saw them defeating big teams including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid. Since PSG did not have any big opponents in the final match, until the match started, we thought that PSG would be the champion of the first tournament of the Club World Cup but something different happened in the final match. Chelsea, whom we had already eliminated, defeated PSG by a large margin in the Club World Cup final. As great as this result was for Chelsea, this result was really surprising for us.
I don't know why fans are still finding it difficult to let what happened in the game between Chelsea and PSG rest because the game is we are waiting for what will happen in the champions League next season where all the top teams will be meeting again. PSG should be respected because they took all the European clubs by surprise the way they defeated all the big teams to win the champions League competition. Club world cup is another place they played very well but it's unfortunate that they couldn't defeat Chelsea if they did by now I don't think anyone will be here arguing because indeed PSG is one of the best thing with their current squad.
