I had my doubts at first, but Gyokeres’ numbers speak for themselves. His goal tally has been almost identical to his number of appearances for two seasons in a row — that kind of consistency is rare. He’s also delivered in the Champions League and for the national team. Of course, the Premier League is a step up in intensity, but with the quality around him at Arsenal, he won’t lack service. If he stays fit, I can see him finishing the season as one of the top three scorers in the league.
When premier league fans noticed that have another competitor to Erling Haaland of Manchester City, they seems happy, but when they noticed that it is Arsenal that signed him, they start criticizing him saying that it can’t be possible for him to score plenty goals in the Premier League; this is a pure way to show that many people don’t like Arsenal as a team.
Nevertheless, Victor Gyokeres has joined Arsenal, and I am very sure he will do better because striker is what Arsenal has been lacking for more than three seasons now; since they now have Gyokeress, it’s time to win titles because almost all positions are fully fit for another season and we have replacement for almost every player in all positions.
Arsenal again? It's like you guys really trust Arsenal to always include them in a title winning discussion, lol. Seriously, it's just funny to me anytime I see Arsenal in mist of trophy discussion and it's not my fault that I don't rate them hing in that regards because they have disappointed one too many times. Manchester City is coming and they will even pose more threats than Arsenal this coming season.
Well as you said, but remember that only Rodri that get injured in the Manchester City squad destabilized the team for the whole season, they lost almost ten matches in a row; if this happened to Arsenal, many of you guys will say that they depend on one player, yet Saka was left out of Arsenal squad for four months and Arsenal maintained their second position which is very good.
I don’t take Manchester City as a threat anymore as an Arsenal fan, I fear Liverpool more than Manchester City because they are more dangerous than City now; therefore, don’t underrate Arsenal’s squad, and I think they have more squad depth than most teams in the Premier League.
