Fixtures provide a significant advantage to some teams, but not every team can capitalize on them. Napoli capitalized on this advantage and were successful. I don't know if they'll have such a fixture advantage again, but repeating this success is no easy feat.
Inter and Napoli are successful teams and must work hard to maintain their success. Competing in every competition isn't easy for teams, and sometimes they have to make choices. Inter's performance in the Champions League last season was excellent, but achieving that this season is proving difficult.
Maintaining consistency and performance across every match in every competition a team participates in is no easy feat. When a team faces a packed schedule, the club must be able to divide its focus effectively. Last season, I observed that only Inter Milan managed to divide its focus effectively, though ultimately they fell short in the Champions League final and could only finish as runners-up in Serie A. That was a decent result, as compared to other Serie A clubs like AC Milan and Juventus, whose performance and consistency were completely disjointed, with their focus also divided. However, fortunately, Juventus managed to bounce back before the season ended, ensuring they secured a spot in this season's Champions League. Meanwhile, regarding AC Milan, their focus was completely divided. Besides failing in the Champions League last season, they also failed to secure a spot in this season's Champions League. However, fortunately, in that season, AC Milan managed to secure the Supercoppa trophy, so they ended the season not too badly.
