We all agree that next season the competition seems to be getting more competitive especially since some teams are actively hunting for new players, my favorites are still Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea so how do you think Newcastle performed, will they be able to compete in the top 5 like last season? because the rumour they will release one of their mainstay players. On the other hand, I am really curious to see Manchester United performance after bringing in several new players.

I agree with Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City, but Chelsea might not be the favorites, even though they beat PSG in the Club World Cup.
Newcastle is still one of the teams fighting for a top-five spot, but if Alexander Isak is released to Liverpool, their overall performance might decline slightly.
The Premier League is shaping up to be very exciting next season, as several top teams have already recruited the players they need.
Manchester United's performance might not be much different from last season, and if there are any changes, it will probably only be in the race for a top-five finish.
Yes, I also agree that next season will definitely be a much tighter season in the Premier League. Because as we know the big teams in the Premier League are indeed busy preparing their squads in order to become even greater. But even so, I don't think there is a strong guarantee that teams that recruit a lot of players can perform well next season. Therefore, although it is likely that the big teams in the English league are busy bringing in new players, but I personally only believe in Liverpool and Arsenal. Because Manchester City and Chelsea in my opinion are still quite doubtful to be able to enter the top 2 in the English league.

But against Liverpool and Arsenal, I personally have no doubt, because these two teams are always able to maintain their team's performance well in every season. This is evident in the past few seasons Liverpool and Arsenal have always performed well. Then about Newcastle, I personally agree that this team might be able to compete again in the top 5 or 6 positions in the English league. And about Manchester United's I think their best performance next season will most likely not be able to break into the top 5 in the English league.
Because basically Manchester United still has a lot of gaps and weaknesses that they have to fix. So I personally think Manchester United will only be able to compete in the top 8 or 9 positions next season.
