I don't think that's true. There are many traders that are profitable without using Ai. Infact, Trading Crypto with Ai can be extremely dangerous if you totally rely on it. It can be used as a tool to give you knowledge about crypto or some strategies/indicators etc. But it's not like if you don't use it you will not become profitable. Surely it can be used but it's not a must to become good at trading.
I still don't believe trading with AI is truly practical, we all know how AI hallucinate, now make it place a trade order with that possibility and you'd get so many errors that could potentially make you go bankrupt.
I think what he meant is just a summary of coin fundamental analysis with AI but not using AI itself to place a trading.
Personally, I've never ever encountered anyone who use AI directly to place trade and make trade automatically.
