Arteta once said that there are eight favorite teams to win the new season. Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Tottenham Hotspur. Arteta may have looked at last season to make that statement. In my opinion, Man City, Arsenal, and Liverpool are the strongest candidates. It's too early to tell, but I see them taking the transfer market very seriously by buying new players.

Arsenal is a runner up team, the rest of the teams have no chance to win. It's realistic to say Liverpool will become the champion because they made huge transfers, probably they will sign another expensive player again.
Manchester City are in their new version, not really promising. Chelsea have advantage over the players, even the whole main lineup injured, they still have second and third lineup.
