Chelsea the favourite for the next premier league title?
No, I don't buy into that sentiment because I still feels that they are below Liverpool in quality and experience, I know that their recent performance in the club world cup will make a lot of people including me to start seeing them differently, but even though I know that they are very skilled and strong, especially now that they have added a real finisher to their squad in Joao Pedro, they are still short in quality and experience when compared to Liverpool.
So the team I sees as the favourite here is Liverpool, and by looking at how they have dip hands in the transfer market and made a lot of expensive signing, we can all attest that they will be much more stronger than last season, so they are the clear favourite here.
People forget that in Club World Cup not all top teams participated e.g. Liverpool, Arsenal, Barcelona, and Napoli. If they participated, Chelsea might already got beaten by one of the team I mentioned before.
There's a difference between a league and short competition, a long league even the team beat top teams, they still not able to become a champion because it's about consistency. We have seen ugly lose where small teams beat big teams, this also a problem.
