I think Real Madrid are not spending big this summer because they have not found a player that will need them to spend much money on, for now Madrid are moving smart and getting the best deals possible in the market. It shouldn’t be about who spends most but who does the best deals.
Real Madrid hasn't made many moves in the transfer market, as they already have everything they need. The players they currently have are sufficient to enable them to perform optimally in the new season.
And their defensive woes also seem to be resolved, as Real Madrid has brought in three defenders in this transfer window. They are:
- Dean Huijsen, a center-back, signed from Bournemouth
- Alvaro Carreras, a left-back signed from Benfica
- Trent Alexander-Arnold, also a center-back signed from Liverpool.
With this, Real Madrid's defensive woes seem to be a thing of the past.
