The only team that came for Mbuemo that are playing in the champions league that showed serious commitment in signing him was Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham thought they could use the influence of their new manager who was the former manager of Brian Mbuemo at Brentford to get him to Tottenham, but that didn't work because Manchester United offered Mbuemo higher salary structure.
