The clubs that qualifies for Europa League are not the best clubs in their various leagues, because the Champions League is for the best clubs. Europa is for the clubs that finished below the best clubs that season. This is why you see that this competition is full of surprises and unpredictable, because an average club can win the best club doing well in its domestic league.
However, we are still yet to see the best of this competition next season because it will be filled with a lot of surprises as usual.
That's why I haven't been watching the Europa League and Conference League games. I see them as lower quality games compared to the European Champions League and major leagues. I've rarely even watched Europa League finals. But I keep an eye on the results. Because they're very unpredictable games, I choose not to bet on them.
So, I see this competition as one that needs to be taken to its highest level. For that to happen, perhaps they should increase the prize money for the winner and advertise the league more. But since the Champions League exists, they prefer to give all the attention to it and reduce attention to the Europa League.
