Well, there blows my GD. vd309, what the hell man, did you have to bring it on like this?

I need Oscar Piastri to win for me to win my duel, I only hedged the pick with a little bet on Norris to win @ ~2.29 issh Odds... So, I'd rather have Piastri to win than some 20 bucks winning ticket.  Grin

Good job Wink

NBA can't be your fringe sport. Whole point is to pick sport where you have advantage over bookie. We are talking eSports, table tennis, sepaktakrow...

You know something where algorithms aren't that polished.

NBA can be a sport where you know most but you will not find value odds there.

I kinda disagree here. I am way more profitable on football than on other sports.
I can try to find value bets there, because I actually watch it. I don't pick favorites but smartly pick outsiders, and more often than not those high odds hit.

I spoke last year to a guy who's behind algos at a book, and he's worked at 2 books already. I was telling him I made a killing in Nations League qualifiers in the early seasons (especially with teams like Georgia and Armenia and former USSR where you could get absolute 10/1 hammer blows). He absolutely agreed that in sportsbetting, value is where data is the least available: new markets, new teams, new players. And that's why books pay a lot for data in these exotic markets.

That said, he also agreed value also lies with the underdog, where the underdog is only the underdog because of heavy money on the favourite (as algos swing the odds to limit liability). You can find a book with 5/1 and another with 8/1 -- that's simple value right there.
