Well that's the thing, merit sources don't have to distribute the merit... its a totally voluntary thing with no benefits or requirements. I'm a pretty jaded person when it comes to new accounts here and estimate that 90% of them aren't actually "new" -- they are alts of greedy tards who are ready to take advantage of anyone's goodwill for the sake of potentially earning a few more bucks. I suppose its the utter phoniness of their participation here that gets me the most.


The problem (for me) is the behavior being reinforced when suckup slop is rewarded with merits. Maybe its just me, but I think if you really want to help someone, teaching them how to kiss ass is not the way...
