For me, one of the most common gambling myth I wish could die is this popular one people always say, that is “If I keep doubling my bet, I’ll win eventually.”, knowing fully well that such is never a guaranteed strategy, and as such, it's outcome are likely to have a 50/50% chance success or failure. And likewise you also stand a greater chance of losing more money when you keep doubling your bet with the mindset of winning, that may or may not occur.
