I will say threads like this have been getting too much here, which doesn’t make any sense to me. If everyone joining the forum are creating threads like this, then you won’t be comfortable after joining the forum, because you will see threads similar to your own alone, so I think it’s just better newbies stop creating threads like this.
I actually don't see any problem with genuine newbies creating threads in this section, even if they are excited to join and want some initial guidance in their journey. These threads are at least better than the ones where people ask about how they can earn merit and grow their rank when it's only their first post in the forum, which indicates that they are not here for what this forum has to offer like knowledge and information, but they are here only to make money, and such users will barely contribute positively for the well-being of the forum in the future.
@OP, welcome to the forum, and make sure that you read through the links provided by @Aanuoluwatofunmi and other users, because those are important ones, and you will get a lot of knowledge from them that you are going to need in the forum. Make sure to follow the rules because if you break them, you will get banned.
Make sure to ask any questions you have or any confusion by editing your thread, and adding them there. It is better than creating multiple threads.
