I have sometimes experienced the same thing as you, but maybe a little differently, the wallet isn't usually my primary wallet and is usually used for testnets or airdrops, so I save the seedphrase haphazardly or carelessly. Luckily, I can always retrieve it when I check my phone or computer records (whether in notepad, my personal WhatsApp chat history, saved messages on Telegram, etc.), and the transaction date is also usually be my reference, so I will use it to check my activity around that date and time.
