I jus recently joined the bitcoin forum and I aim to increase my knowledge about bitcoin and do some more research because it seems like the best knowledge about bitcoin is in this forum.
Do well to support my journey in this forum with any positive feedback, support or advice.
I will say threads like this have been getting too much here, which doesn’t make any sense to me. If everyone joining the forum are creating threads like this, then you won’t be comfortable after joining the forum, because you will see threads similar to your own alone, so I think it’s just better newbies stop creating threads like this.
Am sure you will have gone through the forum first before creating this thread, if you have paid attention, then you will have seen different pinned posts in different boards, you will definitely see useful informations on how to navigate on the forum there. As a newbie it’s just better you spend more time reading than posting, am sure there is enough informations in the forum already which you can learn from. So you don’t really have to ask unnecessary questions again, you should only post when you have meaningful contribution to make, or maybe you have a question, and you have searched the forum without getting answer yet, then you can create thread to ask.
You have been provided with some links that you need already, maybe you should just lock the thread, I think that’s going to be better.
Some of these newbies join the forum and claim that they don't know their way around and need help navigating the forum. How were they able to locate the beginners and help section to even create their first post? These are just acts by newbies to get noticed.
Well it is not wrong for them to announce their presence here, but there should be other ways to do so. Threads like "I'm new here, hope I'm welcomed", "I'm new here, I can't find my way around", "I'm new here, teach me about Bitcoin"... are literally flooded everywhere. A simple search would solve all these.
