Then, that only means that Bitcoin will be on pause as well if there will be no buying/selling that will happen for a week. But this won't stop the transactions and transfers that can happen from everyone.
If you consider transferring of my balance to yours that won't affect it, it shows that everyone is still going to support it no matter what kind of halt will happen to the network. Why are you thinking that this could happen? maybe a total blackout and internet disruption can make this happen.
