~snip~

So with infinite money, I doubt anyone will still enjoy gambling except when you play against friends to beat them.

Even when we play just for fun, losing can still make us feel disappointed, no one enjoys losing. However, playing for fun helps reduce the stress and pressure that comes with it. If we know our financial are limited, we should never force ourselves to gamble. Losing in that situation will only make things worse.
You are sounding from the side of a poor gambler or a gambler who gambles with more than what he can afford to lose. A gambler with infinite money wouldn't see losses as anything, neither will he feel bad because he has more than enough money to waste. Why will such a person feel disappointed when he is not after making profits. Losing will be fun for such a gambler, because he's looking for where to lavish his money.

Well, money won't be the problem anymore when we have infinite money but people still having a desire to win especially when they're losing consecutively. Curiousity will make us start wondering what it feels like to finally win, to achieve more. And that constant curiosity, driven by repeated losses, can lead to deep disappointment because in gambling, the feeling of victory isn’t guaranteed, no matter how much you spend.
