Do not chase after losses has been one of the very popular sayings in the trading discussion board for those who frequent there and there are several reasons to that which op already listed.
I had a discussion with a friend in recent time and he spoke on how much he wants to get back at the market and I was really surprised because for sure I know you can’t win against the market but rather go only go take some portions from it and the idea of wanting to chase after losses trying to recover them by all means will only do us more harm than good and as such, we should kill the mentality of trying to chase after our trading losses.
