Do you agree with this observation? Would you agree that it's better to not increase your needs in first place?
It is fullishness to not grow just because of the notion that increasing your your assets will cause a proportionate increase in the needs you will have in the future. When you buy a new car, it obviously means that you will need fuel to power it and that's going to add more needs to you. If you build a house, start up a business or acquire one asset or the other, it's also going to contribute to an increased needs but does that mean you should become stagnant just because of such fear?

Growth comes with a lot of responsibility and if you're afraid of those responsibility then you're not ready to grow in the first place. It is your ability to handle all the things that comes with growth that tells if you're going to continue being relevant even after you've attained a certain height...
