As a Nigerian myself, I already gave up on the girls after the game after the first half seeing that it ended in a 2:0 in favor of Morocco, I was watching the match but I left in utter disappointment after the first half believing we lost, but then, I was totally surprised when after about an hour or going to an hour, I started hearing shouts and celebration all around, I came out to find out what the shout was all about and then I was made to know the Nigerian girls won the cup, I gave a big smile.
The Nigerian women's football have been making the country proud, how i wish the super eagles will learn and emulate from this ladies, using this medium to congrat the girls ones again and say they keep up the good work.
I couldn't watch the match on live TV since I had a few things to put in place that night but was listening to commentary about the match on radio. I still remember how some Nigerians that were calling to the radio station to share their thoughts on the game within the 15 minutes break given after the first half ended.
