Understandable! It's possible to earn millions and live a lavish life if you are good at poker, but only a few can master the art of bluffing and reading other people effectively which is why it's not really a reliable profession.
However, sportsbetting also requires some degree of skill along with luck and is not entirely luck based like casino games such as slots.
We would be so out of it to even call it a profession.
Like, we would have people whom would just wake up for the day, clean themselves up, get dressed and walk out the house and tell their spouse that, “I’m going out to work, playing poker for the day”?
