There was a time when I managed to win a decent amount of money in slots. Then I hit the daily jackpot and there was still money on the deposit. My happiness knew no bounds. What did I do? To please myself and stop gambling for a while, I went and bought household appliances for the family, bought a good mobile phone. Well, and a little more in small things. I am glad that I did not start playing again. I am sure that all this money would have been lost in a jiffy.

Lucky you, most people can't do that when they win something from gambling, because greed hits them hard, and they start thinking that if they could win $2,000, they can make it $4,000 as well. So they go ahead and start gambling again with the money, and eventually, lose everything and then regret it, but what's the point? You have to think about the consequences beforehand and realize that if things go south, there is nothing you can do, so now, when the time is still in your hands, you should use it the right way.

I wonder how those people feel who win large amounts in lottery, which has even slighter chances of winning than gambling games, and then they spend it all on either lottery tickets trying to get a bigger win, or gamble it all away with the intent to become richer with the money because they became overconfident after the win. In a moment, you could change your life with an amount you had in your hands, and in the second moment, you have nothing left of it.

Gambling can be brutal, and only those who can act the right way at the right time can actually enjoy it.
