I don't know why Arsenal fans are after winning a trophy desperately, and fail to appreciate the good work of Arteta for keeping the club in a good form for three seasons till date. Finishing second on the table is a good evidence that Arteta is doing his job perfectly. I believe that Arsenal will definitely get a trophy at the appropriate time.
Yeah, in as much as finishing good and maintaining consistency int terms of performance is very good, what really matters is the end result. Good playing style doesn't define a team alone, but trophies and history defines them the most. What is Real Madrid known for?, the only club with 15 champion's league isn't it?, those trophies are consecutive end results as a result of a very top performance. Arsenal is the only club with a golden premier league from the invincibles, but it was as a result of a good consecutive performance.
So, In as much as they have been maintaining momentum, which of course they aren't even getting better if we are to compare the entire three seasons, they also need to have good end games that will be part of their history. They've signed a few players in this window, and the long awaited striker, so there is a strong chance of them winning something good at least. But I have began to notice something odd with a player that needs to be a very key figure in their squad next season. I just hope he prove me wrong, because I still have memories of how good he used to be in the previous two seasons. There is a better chance for the gunners this season, and I can feel that.
