Nobody is saying that promotion clubs will win the Premier League title in their first season of being promoted to the Premier League or saying Sunderland will win the Premier League title next season. I and Justbillywitt were only speculating that the 20 Premier League teams are favorites to win the Premier League title next season, and what I said in my previous post made Justbillywitt say that Sunderland could win the Premier League title if they are consistent in winning their matches in the Premier League, which I agree with because winning the Premier League title depends on how consistent a club is in winning matches in the Premier League.
Nothing is impossible in terms of football, but the main reason why people are not focusing on any promoted teams to win the Premier League in their first season is because they know it’s going to be a very difficult thing to do. Even I don’t think this will be the season for any promoted team to win the Premier League, because I don’t think they have the squad or the understanding among their players. The strength of these promoted teams is not as strong as the big teams in the Premier League competition.so, I do not expect any surprise result from the teams that will win the Premier League. In my opinion, it will likely be one of the big teams like Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, or Chelsea. I am expecting one of them to win the Premier League this season.
Even if there’s a surprise, I would expect it to come from an average team like Aston Villa, Newcastle, or another mid-table side but not from a promoted team. Even when Leicester City won the Premier League and surprised almost everyone, it wasn’t their first season after promotion it was their second season. In fact, I wouldn’t say much, as I don’t expect much from the promoted teams. But let’s see what happens as the season is about to start.
