Parade? Their is no time in our history that we have done something like that if am not mistaken, though it's not a bad idea entirely but I don't sees it as part of our culture, so it's not that significant to us, unlike the Europeans that it's the part of the norms if they win something huge.
Then as for the rest of other African nations, have they done anything like parade before?
I haven't heard of it before honestly, so I don't think it's that important to us, what I find very important is for our football federation and those people that made promises to this ladies, let them fullfil all their promise because they are the only ones giving us joy of recent, unlike our super eagles team that has being disappointing us on a steady basis.
Even though it's not part of our culture, since European clubs and countries used to parade when they won trophies, it's not bad if the Nigeria Super Falcons decide to parade after winning the Women's African Cup of Nations because for what they did in the final, they deserve the parade if that will make them feel happy. Even though the money our president promised to give to the Super Falcons is too much, I just hope he fulfills his promise, and it shouldn't be audio money.
If such a big success is not valued, then the Super Falcons will be disrespected. If they are encouraged, the expectation of more victories will work within the team. Even then, other footballers will try to perform better to play for the national team. So, there will be a huge improvement in women's football. For this victory, I think the decision of the parade is definitely positive and if more efforts are taken that would be good. Nigeria Super Falcons will be greatly inspired by it. The President has promised that he will definitely fulfill it. If such an announcement is not implemented after announcing, then it will definitely not be supported by the general public.
The Idea for this parade is not bad and infact it's a good move as this will also help to boost the game in Nigeria and the continent at large. About their take home banquet, I have been in awe since the announcement. The price for this trophy is $1 million dollars equivalent to #1.52 billion. So why would he now issue a total of $2.85 billion out in appreciation for winning $1.52 billion? Haha. Business wise it's wrong but on the other hand I'm happy for the super falcons for achieving such fear and also for hitting such bounty return. Let's not also forget that their prices also include a house each, this is massive indeed.

I hope he will continue this tempo because both the super eagles and flying eagles are definitely going to sit up and go for the gold next time.
