The bottom part of the leaderboard changed very quickly the last day. I thought I was going to win an easy $50 just betting a little bit and chilling but got totally denied. From $200 minimum and 15th place to $1,325 in one day. 
This is the art of wagering contest if you ask me, although you are on top 3 or top 5 earlier or even you are on the top place (1st), there is still a chance for you to be kicked from your position in the last hours (even minutes) by whales who can bet huge amount easily.
So true. This is why I hate playing on early days of tournament because you are just setting your wager volume as target to beat by other participants.
Unless you are whale that can drop million dollar wager per day I guess there’s no problem on doing that early bet.
It’s always best to sneak in on the last day of tournament like this so that you can analyze first if worth it to compete or not based on the wager required to get a position with prize.
