Trump said India and Russia are operating a dead economy, but I can't still understand what a dead economy interpret in this context, maybe they should have advanced more than where they are or a kind of attack intimidating on their current level of economic advancement, while for sure, India and Russia are fast growing economy and part of what we could call a threat even to the US both now and the future, not to even consider for China and others.
Honestly, there is just that stereotype about India that the entire country is incredibly poor. While there are still huge income disparity and there are still a lot of poor parts in India, there are some parts of the country where it is fast growing. Their IT industry is growing fast. There is a lot of talented and smart people in India but I do not think we can collectively say that they have a good economy since some parts are still lacking. Russia on the other hand seems to be doing well if we consider that they are literally in war.
Anyway what Trump may have said about being a dead economy may just be politically driven. When we say dead economy, I assume it is unchanging and not growing. Which I do not think India and Russia are.
