The decision to field was a good one after winning the toss. This pitch at Oval cannot be called batting friendly. It is quite difficult to collect 350+ on this pitch. If England's bowlers can bowl in a controlled manner, it will not be possible for India to collect a big total. The possibility of this match being drawn like the last match is very low.

This is the last Test match between England vs India and if Team India wins this match then the series will be level and if England wins then they will defeat India in this series. Since winning the fifth Test match is important for both the teams, the fifth Test match is undoubtedly going to be very exciting. In the first innings of the fifth Test match, we have seen India batting so far where India is not in a good position to catch as they have lost 3 wickets for 87 runs and now the third session is going on. In this match, England might want to bowl India out in the first innings with relatively few runs so that they can score well in the second innings and get ahead of India and create a chance to win the fifth Test match.

England definitely needs a good partnership at the moment and need to take their score to a good level only then they can compete well against England.
