Information reaching the social media about the recent decision made by the government in Algeria in Africa to have completely ban the use of cryptocurrencies in the country, this includes mining, selling and buying or making any form of payment in cryptocurrency including Bitcoin, while other countries are moving to adopt bitcoin, Algeria is reasoning the opposite way by placing a ban.
I am quite surprised since Nigeria which is another country in the continent seems to be one of the countries with the most active community here in the forum or in any crypto space. I am not that aware of their policies whether they are really accepting or not but I am surprised to see an African country be so intensely against crypto.
