do you think that there is an association between a calamity and higher cases of crime in a country?
While it's devastating that after such typhoons and weather calamities come. People who gets affected of it will think of survival first. If they're breaking into other houses, it's due to them starving stomachs. They want to eat and if the aide hasn't come yet, there is no way for them to wait for that longer and so that's the solution they think that they have to do. It looks a lawless land if people are doing that and the local government should have prepared for it before a typhoon comes with all of the reliefs and food packages that they should send even before the typhoon comes. What most governments are doing is they wait for the storm to hit the lands first and see the impact of it, and will only distribute the help to the affected ones and that's how they assess. I think it's very important if there is disaster preparedness, as long as it's predicted that the area is going to be affected then they should send the help beforehand.
