ive looked at the trezor and read about it I would prefer to go for one of those, but the price they're like 300$ in my country it kind of deters me but i shouldn't be stupid, high price must come with a better quality build right?
That's almost double the price of a Safe 5... Did you get it from an "official reseller" of Trezor?
- Their overall build quality is better than Ledger, but compared to their previous generation, it has slightly decreased (I already have "a couple of chipped parts" on my Safe 3).

the electrum seed won't be able to recover the xmr i don't think

I understand why you're saying that, but it's a trade-off between security and convenience.
