In my opinion I don’t think just signing a striker for Arsenal settles the problem for not winning trophies. Arsenal lack that winning mentality and strategy to push cross the line when they need to. For three seasons now they have always come close but failed to push through at the very last point. If signing a striker will help Arsenal get it right then thank heavens but I still feel it is not enough.
What you said here are very true, the main problem of this arsenal team is their mentality because considering the level of consistency they have shown in the past four seasons, especially the last time Manchester city won the league, if it was a team with a winning mentality, they wouldn't have let that slide, and in my own opinion, that has nothing to do with having an attacker or not, because they have been doing well without an attacker till the closing stage of the season, so what happened that made them blew it?
It boils down to not having a coach with a winning mentality, because if it's a coach like Jose Mourinho or pep guardiola he can't lose a league title he is leading by the least five points when it's just 10 games remaining, he would definitely be treating every games at it comes as a final.
